Tracy Neher, a graduate student in Biological Sciences received $500 toward her presentation at the 2008 Annual ASBMB Meeting held in San Diego April, 2008. Diego Villegas-Bermudez, a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics received $250 toward his presentation at the 2007 Summer Bioengineering Conference held in Colorado June, 2007. Han Bing Wang, a graduate student in Chemical Engineering received $500 toward her presentation at the BMES 2007 Annual Fall Meeting held in Los Angeles Sept., 2007. Yunxia Liu, a postdoctoral scientist in the School of Forest Resources & Environmental Science received $500 toward her presentation at the ASPB 2007 Conference held in Chicago July, 2007. Spring 2007 Travel Awards Benjamin Babst, a post-doctoral scientist in the School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science, received $500 toward his presentation at the Gordon Research Conference: Plant Herbivore Interactions in Ventura, California February 17-23, 2007. Dr. Babst was also a co-author of a invited talk presented at the conference by his graduate school advisor, Dr. Colin Orians. Tara Hansen, an undergraduate student in the Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics Department, received $500 toward travel expenses for her presentation at the ASME Summer Bioengineering Conference held in Florida in June, 2006. Parimal Kar, a graduate student in the Physics Department, will receive $250 toward his presentation at the From Computational Biophysics to System Biology Conference held in Juelich, Germany May 2-4, 2007.
